ZARD Death Anniversary - 27 May 2008

One year ago, on 27 May 2007, Sakai Izumi of famous Japanese band ZARD passed away due to head injuries in Keio University Hospital after falling over the railings of the emergency staircase and landing on the ground head first from a height of 3 metres. It was assumed that the side effects of the drugs she was taking for chemotherapy and the slippery floor caused her to slip and fall to her death.

It has been one year since that fateful day. I don't know if anybody here could appreciate ZARD's music, but either way, she's deceased. It's her death anniversary today, let's at least wish that she could rest in peace and have a wonderful afterlife.

And yes, she was the singer of the two songs I have presented to the class during the Speech of the Day and Tribute to 2H presentations. The two songs are embedded below.
